Table of Glory (乒乓圆), one of the best idol drama by Mediacorp. Apart from Little Nyonya (小娘惹), I felt that the storyline for Table of Glory is very fresh and interesting. 英雄见阿信又有所行动，决定来个 “ 先下手为强 ” ，向甜甜剖白爱意。这天晚上，他准备了丰盛的晚餐，还把自己刻意打扮一番，盛情邀约甜甜上门共进晚餐。当他鼓起勇气向甜甜表白之际，竟发现甜甜昏昏睡去……。

Yingxiong decides to confess his feelings to Tiantian. He prepares a special dinner for Tian Tian and dresses up for the occasion. Just as he is about to confess, Tiantian falls asleep.

小芬与刘雨展开冠军争夺战。刘雨求胜心切，反而频频出错，小芬侥幸取得最后胜利。阿武迟迟没在赛场出现，英雄、大地、姿宜等焦急地到处找他，终于在黎明的坟前找到他，但阿武却不想再去比赛。阿武是可否会改变心意，与家军争夺冠军呢？

Xiaofen and Liuyu's showdown begins. In her eagerness to win, Liuyu keeps making mistakes. Xiaofen eventually wins the competition. Ah Wu fails to turn up. Yingxiong, Dadi and Ziyi look for him anxiously and finally find him at his mother's grave. Ah Wu refuses to compete. Will Ah Wu change his mind?

He Sheng Wu (played by Joshua Ang )

Sheng Wu, 20, has social impairment due to a childhood incident, he never says more than three lines each time he speaks, and is often chided by Dad for being a muddle head. After giving up on his academics and serving national duties, he helps out at a laundry store. He passes his time by hitting a table tennis ball against an empty wall with his paddle.

Although he lacks experience in table tennis, he possesses an innate talent for reading his opponent’s moves and strategy in the game. He is secretly in love with Mai Xiao Fen, his childhood friend. However, he does not know how to confess to her as he is not good with words. No longer desiring to help out at his Dad’s laundry store, Ah Wu begins to work towards being a professional table tennis player, under Zi Yi’s encouragement, wishing to fulfill his late mother’s wishes.

何胜武（洪赐健 饰演）

20 岁, 童年阴影导致有点自闭, 不善于跟人沟通, 总是说不到三句话, 常被父亲责骂笨头笨脑. 读书不成, 提早入伍后在洗衣店里帮忙, 他终日和墙壁打乒乓, 但却能够很快就看出对手的球路并想出破解招式. 暗恋青梅竹马的小芬, 对小芬一往情深却不会表达. 原本在父亲的洗衣店里帮忙, 后来在姿宜的激励下立志完成母亲的遗愿－成为乒乓高手.

Xiao Fen (Played by Teresa Teng)

Xiao Fen, 19, is the cute girl-next-door who aims to become a professional table tennis player. However, she lacks self-esteem and will power, resulting in her always attaining 4th position, nothing higher. An avid follower of the constellations and their legends, Xiao Fen is a believer that true love can be perfect like in the fairytales. She is oblivious that Ah Wu has feelings for her, but instead she falls for the handsome Jia Jun. In the end, she realizes that to be treasured by someone is a very fortunate thing indeed.

麦晓芬（曾詠霖 演饰）

19 岁, 可爱的邻家女孩. 母亲是前乒乓国手, 在她的积极栽培下成为职业乒乓手. 缺乏自信和毅力的小芬一直陷在“阿 4 ”魔咒里. 迷信星座的她对爱情十分梦幻, 忽视身边一直暗恋她的阿武, 而对家军一见钟情. 苦苦追求这份单程的爱情, 后来终于明白被人爱着的幸福.
