Thank you everybody!

21st Birthday Concert Party

Ok, a long long blog post. But I'm also sure many of you are waiting for this, right? Sorry for not blogging on 6 September, as I m giving myself a day off. Lol!

First and foremost, thank you everyone who have wished me be it sms, phone call, facebook, friendster, blog chatbox, msn etc. Thank you so much! I apologise for not being able to reply to each and every single one of it, but I really really appreciate them!

Also, BIG thank you to everyone who attended my birthday party concert at Singapore Marriott Hotel. Sorry I couldnt invite everyone due to the limited spaces we have, but still to those who were part of it, thank you so much for creating the history in my life and walking with me through my route towards adulthood. Thank you to all the production team, crew members and everybody who organise this wonderful party! (",) I really appreciate deeply in my heart.

It has been a long long day for me. Lol! Woke up early morning to prepare for the day. And the day before I slept quite late due to the late night movie. (",) Practiced my keyboard and guitar as well as downloading and printing all the lyrics and mmos. Before I knew it, it was 2.30pm already. And so I went to prepare and Dewei and Carol came over to help me carry my stuffs to hotel.

Poor Desmond and his colleague from Jean Yip The Makeover, waited for more than hour for me. I'm so sorry! Anyway, he did the make up and hairdo for me. Thank you so much for the lovely image. 谢谢你Desmond大哥!

Preparations begin after the make up. The backdrop, the 5 tier Donut Cake，specially sponsored by Donut Empire, the stage, sound check the everything. Soon after that David came and passed me his guitar, which he borrowed me for the night. Thanks David.

Also one more person I would like to thank personally is James! He was the man of the night! I called him on Saturday and I asked him if he could host my event and he said yes immediately. And he didnt want a single cent from me. Not only that, he didnt eat because he was too busy hosting my event. Among all that, he helped me to calm down by assuring me and telling me jokes and stuffs. A BIG BIG Thank YOU to you James!

Soon after people came and there were some problems with the table arrangements. In the end we added more tables. I apologise for this to everyone. It was unexpected. But thank you for being so patient. In total, we have 218 guest turning up for the party. Wow! I didnt expect that much actually. Lol!

RING! THE PARTY BEGINS!

James did a great opening and I went up stage to give my Thank You Speech. It was impromptu in case you all wonder. Boss say no need script because it's bad for me. Lol! After that I showcased two of my own songs on guitar. I sang "If Only You Knew" for the first time in public. I hope it went well with everyone.

After that we had games and it was fun seeing people coming up playing games. Lol! Then I presented my 2 songs on keyboard, "Saranghamnida" and "每分钟". After which was followed by cake cutting. The Donut Cake was so so nice! Very beautifully decorated and very delicious as well. Not a single one did not compliment the cake. 5 tier Donut Cake! Thank you Steven, Azahari and Desmond from Donut Empire for sponsoring!

After cake cutting I decided to do another impromptu stunt. Lol! I felt that I should personally thank every single guests of mine. So I went around shaking the hands of every single person in the room. Today a friend of mine smsed me and said I missed him out. Oops! Sorry!

Anyway after that was group phototaking as well as free and easy. Speaking of phototaking, I would also like to thank Kenny from Jean Yip The Makeover for helping me take pictures for the night. He was supposed to be guest but ended up doing OT by helping me take photo. Thanks brother!

That was a brief outline for the entire party. I had fun and I'm very happy. Just that I felt bad I couldnt mingle around with each individual. There were far too many! Like more than 218 people present! (",) Anyway, do pass me the postcard and I will sign for you guys in near future.
