Unidentified Worry

Male singers avoid Jay Chou's May album release - I saw this and I was like, whoa..... This is the true blue King of Pop Of Asia. I think he's worthy of being called the Michael Jackson of Asia.

Received an email from a friend and it seems now there's a facebook group opened for this person related to it. The mail says:
Hi guys,
I would really appreciate your prayers for a friend of mine (canoeing junior, 21yrs old), who is in comatose right now.

He met with an accident on jetski in Phuket, and his right brain is injured/damaged. Part of his left brain is injured too. His brain is also shifted by 2cm, which is rather serious. This fri/sat/sun is the critical period, in seeing whether he cn pull thru.
Medically-speaking, chances of recovery is rather slim, but i Believe in our God who is a God of miracles.

So please, join me to pray for him? That he can pull through this weekend, and healing for the brain tissues.

-Pray also for his mother (who has to handle all the finances, coming not from a well-to-do family), look after him day/night and to hold the family together.
-Pray also for his father, who is in Phuket settling the case with the police right now, but who doesnt have very good health either esp after the traumatizing news of his son's accident.
-Pray also for his only sister, who is now tirelessly going around hunting for good neurosurgeons.
-Pray for Hope, Peace, and Healing for YingJie (my friend.)

I really appreciate your prayers a lot, and I believe God hears.
I know many of you may not know him, but I really cant think of any any any other possible ways to help, other than being there physically to comfort his family, which is to rally people in prayer for him. This is also what his mother requested, to rally as many people as possible on the internet and anywhere possible to pray for him.

To those who know him: His mother also strongly requests us to go visit him and talk to him frequently as he can indicate certain responses at times.

-End Of Mail-

As of now, I heard that he has caught an infection and the doc and nurses said that there's "not much hope" and has suggested pulling off the life-support system. His mum is devastated. Though I dont know him, and have never seen him before, I feel really sad for him and his family. I'm also a 21 year old, I understand the pain. Therefore I hope everyone can join me in praying for him. Hope we receive some good news.

Earthquake AGAIN in Sumatra this time. Sigh. So many disasters and sad things going on in the world.

I dont know why, these few days I seem to be undergoing some weird suppressing feeling. I just feel very stressed up suddenly and I would get very bothered and worried for nothing. I dont know if it's due to work, or school or any other things, but the feeling is getting stronger each day. I dont know what happened to me, I just know I'm not happy. Sigh. Just hope things will work out fine.

Attending blogger meeting tomorrow. Quite excited about it. (",)

爱心午餐

Today halfway through my lecture I received a surprise sms from Cat 姐 saying that she and 娟姐 are on their way here. I was quite shock because today is quite a packed day and I suddenly my schedule was thrown into disequilibrium. But nevertheless, I met up with them for a short while and they brought me lunch. It was personally cooked by 娟姐 and supervised by Cat 姐. My facebook friend and also their close friend Pauline 姐 came along too. Anyway next time want come must let me know in advanced just in case I really cannot make it. I dont want anybody to make a wasted trip down to see me then end up I cant meet. But nevertheless, it was very sweet of them to have brought me lunch la. So I accompanied them for awhile while eating the 爱心午餐 prepared by the 3 of them the entire morning.

Noodles cooked by 娟姐. Looks delicious right? Like professionally done. Haha.

Me before eating. Slurp Slurp!

The 3 sweet ladies!

娟姐 was so funny. She brought 2 bowls for me as she scared I have not enough to eat. But in the end I was so full I only managed to finish one bowl. Lol. Anyway thanks for the lovely lunch!

After school was tuition again and then I headed down to Boss's place for a gathering. Serena brought us Durian Puff from Goodwood Park Hotel. Good stuff. I had 2 because I was pretty full liao. Could have had more otherwise. Haha. I love durian. I mean the original fruit by itself. Especially 猫山王 durian all the better! Anyway the puff was delicious la. Thanks Serena.

Long day today. These few days like that. I guess this whole month will be like that. I hope I do get enough rest each day. Cant wait for exams to be over, but the preparation is tough. Thank you everyone for the encouragement and well wishes! They keep me going and make me strong. So please dont stop!

Anyway, do visit www.hellofm.weebly.com to leave me a tag and support the online radio! Cheers everyone! (",)

Happy News

Alvin from OMY.sg called me today to inform me of the good news that I'm one of the shortlisted bloggers for Singapore Dance Delight! Which means, I may get a chance to go to Japan to watch the finals!!!! :)

Yay. Thank you OMY.sg and F&N for giving me this wonderful opportunity!

A devastating news hit the world today. Another country is hit by an earthquake again. This time, it's Mexico. There have been quite a number of disasters hitting different parts of the world of late, plus some countries going into a state of civil war and riots, it makes me wonder what will happen in year 2012.

Will the world end like how the Mayan Calendar had predicted?

I did some research online and found some creepy articles which confirms my fear and some which simply brush off the predictions as rubbish. What do you think might happen?

According to Unexplainable.net (Click HERE), they are saying that the Mayan Calendar is one of the most accurate time keeping systems of all time. It has tracked without fail every solar eclipse every lunar eclipse and even takes into account changes in the rotation of the earth and the speed of the rotation of the earth to accommodate for this.

The Maya also predicted that in the year 1996 an inter-dimensional network would be created and that would enable everyone to see and communicate with each other thousands of miles away. This very year, the webcam was invented and introduced. This same Calendar also predicted the 911 incident and Sichuan Earthquake incident but noone actually realised until the thing really happened. Now that it has predicted the end of the world at 2012, do you believe?

However according to world-of-lucid-dreaming.com (Click HERE), it has brushed off the idea of apocalypse as a bunch of "hodge podge of misinformation".

Whose side are you on?

Whatever it is, being a pessimistic and imaginative person, I cant help but think of the worst case scenario, which in this case, proves that the prediction is right. What will happen exactly? Will there be chaos all around? Or peace and calmness around? Will the world be saved? Will it be like the movie 2012?

By the time comes, when things have to end, have you lived your life to the fullest? Will you have any regrets? Will you accept things for what they are about to happen? Hmm...

Have you every wondered what does it feel like to die? What happens when you actually die? Do you "awake" and become a spirit and set off to the nether world like in the shows? Or you simply just "shut down" like a computer? Interesting eh? Haha.

One thing is for sure, my exams are coming. Lol. Have to go back to my books. 加油!
