PoMo Sounds Performance

This coming Saturday, from 6pm to 8pm, I will be involved in another performance at PoMo (formerly known as Paradiz Centre). I will be singing three songs and maybe one duet with Joseph from Youth Box. Of course you guys will get to see the inhouse artistes from Youth Box as well! Must come down to support all of us!

Tonight I will be attending the gathering (Dos Meses Fiesta Celebration) organised by EMEFC and Youth Box at Costa Sands Resort. Hope YOU will not be emo later, otherwise everybody will not enjoy the gathering.

Just finish my facial and haircut at Angelsky8, also have a chat with J Ai, as very long didnt see him liao. Now having my lunch and using the internet for awhile to update the blog, facebook and Friendster, as tonight I will be at Chalet having fun and bbq! Anyway, I will post up the photo that we took at the Chalet. (",)

Lastly, do click daily on Nuffnang and Advertlets advertisement beside my blog sidebar, as this will assist in contribution to my music career. Well, doing music in Singapore is very tough as we dun get much support too. So we have to think of a way to get extra income in order to survive our passion! Lol! Ok. I will blog again tomorrow when I m back from Chalet. Meanwhile wish me all the best in the interview by the committee group from Stars of Shine at 7pm this evening.

Super tired!

I woke up later than usual yesterday. I had been super tired the past two weeks as work kept piling up and up and up. Finally get to sleep alittle later today.

Head to Boss's house for meeting, training and rehearsal. I had early dinner at his house as his mum cook. Very nice food. Lol!

After tuition I went out with martin. He just came back from his diving trip. We went to Boon Lay market. Yujing should know where right? But too bad she went home already and her dad was busy cleaning up the stall. Lol! We had the famous POWER nasi lemak there. Quite a long queue, but finally get to eat after 15 minutes.

Anyway, would like to thank Yong Soon for his help regarding my case. I hope our last ditch effort will go through. You must also learn to take care of yourself. Eat more healthily and have more rest if possible. Maybe can try some light exercise and yoga to relax yourself and eat organic food too. If there is anything that I can help, feel free to let me know. I will try my best to help as much as I can. Meanwhile do take care of yourself.

Haircut and facial at Angelsky8 today, follow by returning the review samsung phone to 24seven, and go for a interview at Stars of Shine as Tim nominated me for Youth Venturer Award 2009. Thanks Tim for your nomination! No doubt we seldom meet nowadays, but I know you care for Elson. (",)

Today EMEFC organised a chalet gathering at Costa Sands Resort, but doubt it will continue because of YOU and another YOU! If YOU want to be a attention seeker, you got the wrong person as I m sick of your weird behaviours. I appreciate what you had done, but at time you are just TOO MUCH, especially what you had done the past two days in MSN.

PM: I m mentally tired due to YOU! Please stop the nonsense and be like what you used to be. I respect you and trust you so much, yet recently you start to add unnecessary stress to my hectic life. And another YOU, I think I cant take it when you always behave like a small kid. Hope that YOU and another YOU can behave yourself!

Phone Review for Samsung Beat DJ

Thank you 24seven for the invitation to try out this cool phone - Samsung Beat DJ. I would say it's really cool. Some features inside the phone really took me away. It's my first time using a touch-screen phone. It's interface is quite similar to Omnia. it's one of the most user friendly interface that I had came across with and I got the hang of it in less than 15 minutes of exploring the phone.

After the initial exploration, I went straight into it's unique feature in this phone called the Beat DJ. basically, it has the basic tools that a real DJ has. After selecting your favourite tune, you can start to play it and while it play, you can actually either scratch the song or add effects to it. There's this filter function, where there is a range of 10 choices for you to choose. One of the functions, they called the "looper" function, allows you to loop the part of song where you selected the loop function and they have a range of beats that you can choose, like how many beats you want that part to loop. Not forgetting the 9 other effect which you can play with. It's a totally cool program which you can impress your friends with (of course with adequete practice). The coolest part is that you can record your own version of mix.

The most important function for people nowadays would be sms I think. So to me, the sms function of a phone matters alot. I'm not a fan of touch screen smsing but this phone's touch screen sms is still ok. At least the "buttons" on the screen are large enough for me to key in the right numbers.

The design of the phone is trendy and special. Unlike the normal squarish phones, this one is more of an oval shape and it allows better grip while scrolling through or doing the "scratch". It's lightweight is also a plus point.

Some features that I dislike

The volume of it's speakers can still be improved since it's a phone that it's supposed be able to blast party music and doing a live DJ out of it, it should be able to project louder music.

The phone tends to lags too when I try to get to the menu and it get's pretty sensitive after a few touches while viewing photos.

It's 3.2mp camera was also a disappointment too. Being someone who takes photos pretty often, I'd prefer it to be at least 5mp.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would say this phone is good. it's screen colours are also bright and brillant. I would recommend it to people who like light weighted, small, cool, trendy looking phones. and I would recommend it even more to people who likes music and likes mixing music around like a DJ. It's "swing" function further brings out the cool-ness in it. To view the next picture, swing it to the left or right! I can also do it by scrolling my thumb across the screen. A worthwhile phone to buy.
