Life's Fragile

Was browsing the net and I came across this article. The headline read: Photographer Committed Suicide 3 Days After Taking This Picture!!

This was the picture:

It was said that the photographer could have saved this boy’s life, but because of the photographer’s ethics code he was prevented from helping in any way. This haunted him, and led him to commit suicide.

Sad isnt it? Many of us live a good life, especially in Singapore, and yet we dont learn to cherish and appreciate. Here, we complain about buses with no air cons, chairs with torn covers or hot hawker centres while they have no transport, no chairs and no food.

Learn to appreciate the simplest things in life and life will be kind to you. Peace.

xoxo.

3 Surprises

It's Vesak Day today. Anybody went to pray? (",)

Anyway I received 3 loves today from 3 different people. First is from Serena. She treat me to watch Shrek in 3D. My first movie after so long. Thanks Serena for making me happy.

Second gift was from Esther. I feel so bad not being able to see her in person to accept the gift and to bid her farewell before she left for Japan. But nevertheless, I want to let her know that I really really appreciate her thoughts and I like the present very much! It's a very huggable Stitch plush!

I havent thought of a name for it yet. Any suggestions? Or maybe Esther you want to help me name it? (",)

Third and final surprise is the biggest gift! And the accolade goes to JOSEPH! He has helped me sourced and found a Jay Chou Concert ticket! Just when I already gave up, he didnt. And today he finally broke the news to me. Omg. I'm so happy. Not only that, it's one of the best seats in the stadium and it's the most expensive one! I dont know how much he forked out and how much he went thorough to help me secure this one precious ticket, but some part of me felt really bad. Really really bad. I just want to say I'm really very touched and happy. Thanks Joseph!!! (",)

There you go. 3 surprises in one day. Lol.

Shrek Forever After

Shrek Forever After

Genre: Action
Director: Mike Mitchell
Cast : Julie Andrews, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers, John Cleese, John McCartney
RunTime: 1hr 30mins
Rating: PG

Movie Synopsis
In this fourth instalment of the popular ogre film franchise, Shrek (Mike Myers) has become a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, the now-reluctant ogre agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin (Paul McCartney). Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all of Rumpelstiltskin's mischief in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one true love and family.

Movie Review
Ok, first and foremost, I didnt know it was already the FOURTH installment. All along I thought there was only 3. And that also proves that this is the first ever Shrek movie I ever watched, in 3D somemore. I thought it was quite nice. Donkey's role was very well done. Storyline's abit cliche but I like how they bring different Disney characters altogether like Rumpelstiltskin, Pipe Pipper and Pinnochio etc.

Eddie Murphy (Voice behind Donkey)
Cameron Diaz (Voice behind Fiona)

Overall I feel that the length of movie is adequately exciting with almost no boring parts. A must see for all Shrek lovers.
