Something Not Seen

Today while waiting for bus at a bus stop, a bald man who seemed to be in his early thirties, appearing very flustered infront of the packed bus stop. He was flagging frantically at every cab that drove past and looked pretty "in a rush". Finally an empty cab came and stopped infront of him. I looked away into the distance waiting for my bus as usual.

Suddenly I heard a woman scream from behind. I turned back and saw the same man and a lady struggling. At first I thought they were fighting over the cab. After that I saw the woman tugging the man's bag and she stretched her hand in an took out a female wallet. The man gestured an apology and smile sheepishly at her while she stormed off in a huff. He flagged after the leaving cab but the uncle just ignored him.

There he stood, and everyone around him and in the bus stop were staring at him and pointing at him. Embarrassed, he turned around and walked away as fast as he could. The poor lady in her twenties walked towards the bus stop for shelter from the hot sun as she was sweating profusely after all the running and struggling. She looked tired, but relieved. Another lady at the bus stop then asked her what happened. She then told her that the man had stolen her wallet while visiting her office which was 3 stories up the building. She had seen him running off and realised that her wallet was missing and she gave chase.

It was my first time witnessing such a thing happening. In my heart, I was happy the man had failed to flag a cab before the lady could catch up to him. Else, the poor lady would have been devastated. Also, he was lucky to get off scot free. Had it been other people, he might very well just end up behind bars.

Anyway, it's in the WEST AREA and this guy being scot free now meant that he is still on the large. I hope everyone can be more careful of their own personal belongings so as to avoid this happening to you. The man is about 1.7m tall, bald, carries a large "female" handbag and wear a black framed specs. If you do spot such a man behaving suspiciously or what, then just be careful. Ok, anyway, I'm glad things ended well for the lady.

Been rather stressed of late. Too many things to worry and bother. Sigh. I dont know why. They just weigh down on me like that. Cannot breathe at times. I still have to move on and carry on. I hope things will turn out well. Hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Was doing some research on human vocals and I found some pretty amazing stuffs. Lol.

I didnt know there was a Guinness World Record for the highest note ever sung by a man. And it's really high. Almost impossible for any man to reach it. But he did it. And that's also why he's the World Record Holder. Check it out.

Now how high was that man. And the list goes on and on and on. World record for longest note held, World record for the most number of t-shirts worn at one time, World record for the most number of straws in the mouth etc etc. All the weird stuffs. Lol.

Then came the controversy of artistes lip syncing during their performances. I think when you get really famous and you're singing every single day for long hours, lip syncing becomes a recovery therapy for your vocal box. You cant be straining it all the time or you'll be out of voice some day and that's bad for all singers. While lip syncing is not encouraged and widely condemned, dont forget that to put up a wonderful stage performance also requires the effort and sufficient practice. So give the artistes credit on their professionalism on stage here.

Came across this video which "proves" Celine Dion has been lip syncing her recent performances. First he put two videos of the same song sung and recorded at different performances in different countries. The first part was obviously live. But as the song came in after the interlude, he "proved" that she has been lip syncing by showing that the song sounds exactly the same. Same stops, same 转音 parts. Lip sync of not, you decide for yourself.

No matter what, she remains as one of my favourite female vocalist of all time. Never tired of her voice and songs. She sings with such emotions, I feel the goosebumps listening to her songs. She also has a good heart and good attitude and character. I dont see why people would want to dislike her. Lol.

While some have gotten off lip sync successfully, some havent been as lucky. Seen the worse way of getting caught lip syncing?

What could have been worse? Falling off stage or being caught lip syncing? The worse part was the entire band was syncing with the music as well. Meaning they were not playing at all! Ultimate shame for a "rock band". But at least he was professional enough to finish the act and he did it acting like nothing had happened. So it's kudos to him for that. Lol.

Hope you guys had a good laugh.

SAD!!

I was full of hope and optimism when I went to bed last night. I thought I finally had the chance to watch Jay Chou's concert live in Singapore. But guess what. His tickets were snapped up within half a day it was officially released on sale to public. HALF DAY was all it took to sell 10000 tickets. I think he just set the fastest selling recording in Singapore. Oh man. Though it was expected, but I'm still very sad now. :(

The good news is, according to reliable sources and the usual trend, he usually opens two nights of concert here. So there's still hope after all! My last resort is to perhaps see if any kind hearted soul who is willing to give me tickets or let me have them or I'll have to fly overseas to watch his concert there.

Anyway, congrats to those who had successfully purchased or somehow got hold of the tickets to his concert. Hope to see you there. Haha.

Anyway I was googling about Mr Jay Chou and I saw this, I would say "funny" article. It says: "Fans criticise Jay Chou's acting career & scolded him to go back home and sing". WTH. Lol.

This is a man who sold out tickets even faster than I can travel to KL from SG they are talking about. Who you're kidding? Lol.

Also came across another blog with an interesting post. Comparing Leehom and Jay Chou. (Click HERE to blog) Well I wouldnt dare make such comparisons. For one they are both my idols, and two, it's really hard to compare them. I thought the blogger had a pretty one-sided view and he obviously knew only a little about Leehom la. But he's entitled to his own views. (",)

Argh. Very sad now already. I want to watch Jay Chou Concert!!!

I WANT. :(

Jay Chou 2010 World Tour

What happens after two people break up? It's been quite some time since I experienced that feeling. I forgot what it felt like.

Is it really possible for two ex lovers to be friends? Or is it best to cut off all contact? I dont know. For sure, I havent been spoke to my ex-s since we broke up.

Anyway that's not important. Haha. Just that I happen to stumble upon an article I saw online - "Jay Chou's not invited to Patty Hou's wedding". (Click HERE for full report)

FYI, Patty is Jay's ex-girlfriend.

What will you do if you were her?

Speaking of Jay Chou, mummy asked me today if I wanted to watch the concert even though she already knew my answer. Lol. So I think for the first time, we'll be going to a concert together.
