A Surprise

After meeting Boss today, together with Joseph, we decided to give YP a surprise visit at his residence at NUS because it's his birthday today!

He came down with his glasses and new haircut and one glance, we thought MLB's Nic is walking towards us. Haha. But it's actually my dear junior YP. Anyway he's really cute la. 23 years old liao, but still have the 小孩子心态. Haha!

We brought him to WCP Mac for a mini celebration. I hope he had a good time just now.

Sorry it's quite last minute, next year we'll do something more fun ok! Happy Birthday YP!

Anyway, tomorrow 9.30pm, remember to tune in to Yes 933 FM for my radio interview ok! Very excited now, I cannot sleep liao. Hahaha. :)

A Great Loss

Yesterday i came to know of a shocking news. I'm sure many of you would have known. The veteran actress Yang Li Na (杨莉娜) had passed away after failing her battle with uterine cancer for four years. She received minimally invasive surgery for her illness but her condition did not improve. The cancer cells spread forcing her to be hospitalised frequently for check-ups and surgery.

Through this period, her illness wasnt make known to public, so yesterday's news came to be a shocker to many. I've always liked how she portray her role in her shows as she can be very versatile. One moment, she can be very 泼辣, the next moment another completely different person. Her last project I remembered where I saw her was in Perfect Cut 2 (一切完美2). Despite carrying the illness, she successfully finished the drama, even with the pain and suffering. I truly admire her passion and professionalism in acting.

I've always have a strong feeling towards people who died of cancer. One of my close teacher died of cancer. So did two of my Uncles and my Grandparents. It's always sad to know that life is based on chances and luck. Some have the chance to lead another lease of healthy life, while some dont. I believe God has His own arrangements and I'm sure she has gone to a better place with no pain and suffering.

Anyway, it's a great loss to the local entertainment industry. I really hope her family can be strong during this period and pull through together. My thoughts are with you. Take care.

Relaxing Day

This is my student's sister. She is so cute I couldnt help snapping a picture of her. Haha.

It's been raining for the past few days. Think it's the rainy season now. Somehow I like rain, but it makes me emo. Lol.

After tuition today, headed down town to Tampopo for dinner with my friends. Havent seen them for some time already and finally we all gathered to celebrate my friend Sharon's birthday! Tampopo has really really nice food. It's located at Liang Court and I would recommend everyone to go there. :)

This is the famous 招牌拉面. It comes with the “温泉蛋”, which is really really nice. My favourite egg. Haha.



This is my set of Curry Katsu Don. Superbly delicious! And very large serving also. Actually most of the food there has quite large servings.

This is their other famous dish, the "Black Pig Katsu Don". I dont know why it's Black Pig, but it's really more tender than the usual pork.

Finally time to cut cake.

After dinner we went to talk a stroll along Singapore River. It's really nice and relaxing, especially since we havent met up for so long.

Anyway, happy that the harassment has gone down already. So everyone dont need to worry me ok. :)
