XSQUAD

After my long day in school today, I headed home to wash up, met Boss and we went to my friend Nick's boutique Xsquad at The Cathay for fitting. Met up with Agnes and Joseph and we went up to his place located at the 3rd floor.

We tried on several outfits and I dare say we loved almost every single outfit we wore. But because we have certain restrictions to follow, we had to settle with two most suitable outfit for tomorrow's shoot. Haha.

Nice? Hehe.

Can tell Agnes has other favourites too besides the ones she selected. I was luckier because Nick, having known me for sometime, already had some outfits in mind for me. And he and his friend, Nicholas, also decided to gave me 3 more tee shirts, all of which they specially design themselves. I was really touched by their hospitality and kind gesture.

Brother Nick with me and Agnes

A surprise vistor popped by during our fitting. Guess who? Derrick from Ezen Group. Haha. Havent seen him for sometime already and he had actually slimmed down quite a bit. Also there was former employee from Leadership (where we often go to print our stuffs) and friend of J-Media, Dicky.

The XSQUAD family, so cute right? Haha.

Anyway, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my brother Nick, Nicholas and everyone in Xsquad for their kind sponsorship towards me and Agnes. Anybody who is interested in purchasing those really cool and exclusive outfits, or who are wondering where is this boutique located, once again it's called "XSQUAD", located at The Cathay, #03-11. (",)

After fitting we headed to Peace Centre's Macdonalds for dinner. Joseph never eat again. Tsk tsk. Anyway, he very nice la, always helping me out. Haha. But a bit not guai because always dont want to listen to me, call me kor still so bu guai. Must learn like Carol and Yuan Zhuang, they more guai than you! Haha. Kidding!

Ok, guai didi accompanied me to Yew Tee. He wanted to accompany me further but I shooed him back because it's 11.30pm already and the last train back to Toa Payoh is at 11.40pm. Luckily he listen. Lol. Anyway he quit his job after 2 days at work. Haha. So he's jobless again. Anyone got good lobangs can intro to him la.

Alright, time for bed. Everyone rest well too ok! Jia You! (",)

Back to where I began...... The first week of 2010 passed just like that. Lol.

Today I spent practically the whole day at home. Wrote some songs, did some practicing and did some exercise. Havent spent quality family time together for sometime, so we had dinner together.

Sometimes, it dont feel good when you try so hard to please everyone but end of the day people just dont see your effort in trying. Or maybe I didnt try hard enough. But I dont like to be at the receiving at of one person's tirade just because he or she is in a bad mood or because of something not within my control. Sometimes, I also dont wish for things to be like that. I dont want to shoulder all the blame myself.

On the other note, I'm still waiting for the songs to be ready. I pray it'll turn out good. Haha.

Everywhere is blasting New Year Songs already, from shopping centres to supermarkets to neighbourhood stores. I can slowly feel the festive season coming. I dont know why, I just like CNY. It's like my favourite holiday of the year. Dont you? (",)

A Talented Musician

Today was school day as usual. Saturday school is fun, and boring at the same time. Fun because it's like more relaxed than the usual weekdays, yet it sucks to have to go back to school on a weekend. Haha.

After school I pop by Bt Timah Plaza to meet Pin Ming Lao Shi. Helped him to buy speakers before meeting him. He brought me to meet this very talent mixing engineer from Indonesia. His name is Teffy. He is very warm and friendly and he is also very nice to me, as in, he's not selfish when it comes to imparting his musical knowledge. He's here to do mixing for my songs actually, but I wanted to see how good he is for myself. He's pipped to be as good as Lee Hom by some senior musicians who have worked with him. And as expected, his wide knowledge of chord progressions and different variations of chords used in a song, really swept me away. Of course I wasted no time in picking up some tips from him. Time is of the essence. But at least I learnt something new today. (",)

Me and The Man.

With Lao Shi. Haha.

Went to pick dad up after that and he sent me to Bugis where I met my SIM friends for steamboat dinner. It's Ying's birthday so she invited us to have dinner together at Tian Tian Steamboat.

Have heard so much about it, but havent really been there myself. So can say it' my first time. It's not bad considering the ambience (the one with aircon) and food and friends goes well together. I would say it's recommendable. Haha. We had a great time!

Birthday Girl Ying
Look at this really big piece of meat. We joked it's bigger than his face. Haha
.

I like eating steamboat. Especially with a group of great company. Woo. But Boss going to scold me when he sees these pictures. He'll ask me to diet! Hahaha.
