Movie Synopsis
Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Movie Review

One word to describe this movie: Awesome! Finally I get to see how Medusa turns her victims to stone. Haha. This movie is a good mix of action and fantasy. The special effects were well done and in moderation. I wonder why would anyone say that this movie sucks because I think it's really good. It's not long nor draggy and the storyline's good. Not forgetting Sam Worthington, the man who made Prison Break successful, acted pretty well in the movie too. It definitely lived up to it's name of being one of the most anticipated movie of the year. Strongly recommended to everyone who want to make their tickets worthwhile. Not for those who views religion very seriously as this show is about how Man attempts to overthrow God. Other than that, it's a must watch!

Overall Rating: 4/5

Anyway, thank you all for the concern smses and words of encouragement. Really appreciate them. I'll be strong!

F&N Singapore Dance Delight 2010

Attended today's Blogger meeting with F&N (FNN) and OMY.sg at SPH. I'm thankful that I've been selected as one of the 6 bloggers to blog about this amazing dance competition called the Singapore Dance Delight! Jeff from F&N and Shou Chen from their PR agency was here to brief us.

I've always imagined what the people at F&N looked like since young. Lol. I thought they will be like the MacDonalds people AKA Ronald MacDonald and gang, since they make drinks that appeal so much to us children (back then la). Haha. My favourite drink have always been their Ice Cream Soda. Just tastes so wonderful. (",)

Ok... Anyway back to earth. Lol. The meeting was quite fun and informal. Got to know more about F&N and the SDD. After that we were all given a goody bag. Inside the bag is a cap and F&N badges, which we were to customise it ourself. It's a limited edition cap since Jeff has only given out 10 of them so far in Singapore. Hehe. Anyway he also said that after today, we are also considered as the Ambassadors of F&N!

Also in the bag is a beautiful and sleek HTC Touch 2 handphone, which is given, (yes given to us to keep after the campaign) to us to assist us in blogging. Using it to take pictures and videos during the campaign.

Some pictures taken during today's meeting. (",)

Alright. Now time for some information on the SDD.

History
Dance Delight is created by Mitsuhiro Harada a.k.a Machine.

Machine is the leader of the legendary break dance team ‘Angel Dust Breakers’ in Japan. In 1992, he founded the street dance promotion company ‘Adhip’ and started ‘Osaka Dance Delight’ which created a new wave of street dance culture from Osaka and the origin of all dance delight competitions. In 1994, the first nation wide street dance competition in Japan took place, this was the 1st ‘Japan Dance Delight’.

After 16 years, Japan Dance Delight has become one of the biggest international street dance competition, participating cities/countries include Paris (France), New York (United States), Taipei (Taiwan), Shanghai (China), Seoul (South Korea) and Singapore. The finals in Japan would attract audiences of up to 10,000 and the entire series of regional and cities level dance delight would attract thousands of contestants.

Made a visit to F&N's Facebook Fan Page and website and saw their 3 SDD ambassadors, Wu Jia Hui, Nat Ho and Serene Kong. They even had a theme song for this competition. Haha. I hope one day I'll join them to be the 4th ambassador too. I thought I can suggest using my song "I'm In Love With It" to them since it's also a fast-tempo song and I think the lyrics fits well too. (",)
Maybe you guys can listen and leave me a comment in my chatbox. Lol. Click HERE to listen to "I'm In Love With It".

Unidentified Worry

Male singers avoid Jay Chou's May album release - I saw this and I was like, whoa..... This is the true blue King of Pop Of Asia. I think he's worthy of being called the Michael Jackson of Asia.

Received an email from a friend and it seems now there's a facebook group opened for this person related to it. The mail says:
Hi guys,
I would really appreciate your prayers for a friend of mine (canoeing junior, 21yrs old), who is in comatose right now.

He met with an accident on jetski in Phuket, and his right brain is injured/damaged. Part of his left brain is injured too. His brain is also shifted by 2cm, which is rather serious. This fri/sat/sun is the critical period, in seeing whether he cn pull thru.
Medically-speaking, chances of recovery is rather slim, but i Believe in our God who is a God of miracles.

So please, join me to pray for him? That he can pull through this weekend, and healing for the brain tissues.

-Pray also for his mother (who has to handle all the finances, coming not from a well-to-do family), look after him day/night and to hold the family together.
-Pray also for his father, who is in Phuket settling the case with the police right now, but who doesnt have very good health either esp after the traumatizing news of his son's accident.
-Pray also for his only sister, who is now tirelessly going around hunting for good neurosurgeons.
-Pray for Hope, Peace, and Healing for YingJie (my friend.)

I really appreciate your prayers a lot, and I believe God hears.
I know many of you may not know him, but I really cant think of any any any other possible ways to help, other than being there physically to comfort his family, which is to rally people in prayer for him. This is also what his mother requested, to rally as many people as possible on the internet and anywhere possible to pray for him.

To those who know him: His mother also strongly requests us to go visit him and talk to him frequently as he can indicate certain responses at times.

-End Of Mail-

As of now, I heard that he has caught an infection and the doc and nurses said that there's "not much hope" and has suggested pulling off the life-support system. His mum is devastated. Though I dont know him, and have never seen him before, I feel really sad for him and his family. I'm also a 21 year old, I understand the pain. Therefore I hope everyone can join me in praying for him. Hope we receive some good news.

Earthquake AGAIN in Sumatra this time. Sigh. So many disasters and sad things going on in the world.

I dont know why, these few days I seem to be undergoing some weird suppressing feeling. I just feel very stressed up suddenly and I would get very bothered and worried for nothing. I dont know if it's due to work, or school or any other things, but the feeling is getting stronger each day. I dont know what happened to me, I just know I'm not happy. Sigh. Just hope things will work out fine.

Attending blogger meeting tomorrow. Quite excited about it. (",)
