First Week of August

Another month have yet passed. It's August once again. been pretty busy lately. So busy that I forgot that my own birthday is coming next month. This year I dont have much on my wishlist. I only know I need to get a new computer as my laptop is really giving me problems at times. However the only computer I want and like is the highest end 27 inch iMac which costs like $2700.
27" iMac. Built in with 3.1GHz quad-core, Intel Core i5 with 6MB on-chip shared L3 cache

What a beauty. And so I shall wait till I save up enough. Lol.

On a side note, August have been a pretty busy month so far for me despite only being into the first week. For starters, my good friend cum god-sis Eileen got married. I'm so happy for her. Having known her for almost 5 years, she have always been someone who supports me and give me encouragement when I need. She is simple and humble and nice! So I'm really glad she found someone to share her life with. Congrats Sis!!

I sang during the wedding. I always love to sing at people's wedding. I like seeing them look into each other's eyes and smile while I sing. Not forgetting I also entertained the crowd with my dance moves. HAHA! Check out me doing the retro dance move below!

8 August was Lao Da's birthday. We all threw a birthday surprise for him. I think he was quite touched. Haha! Happy Birthday Lao Da!

Yesterday was National Day. I love National Day since young. Like watching the parade. Like sitting down having a good meal with my family members.

Recently on the internet there was a rumour about our beloved forefather Mr Lee regarding his health. There was no news on the media but many speculated that the "news" will not be announced until after National Day. I was quite heartbroken for few days until when he turned up for the parade and squashed all the nonsense rumours! I was so happy it was untrue!

Thank you Mr Lee for all that you've done for Singapore. Time for us, the newer generation, to step up. You have given your all and your best. Time to enjoy life. Leave the future to us. :)

Hope that the remainder of August can be a great month for all. Thank you for being my loyal readers. I will blog more soon! <3 p="p">

The Story Of A Blind Girl

This is a story I found on the internet.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”

The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:

“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.

Life Is A Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word–
think of someone who can’t speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food–
think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife–
think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life–
think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children–
think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn’t clean or sweep–
think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive–
think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job–
think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another–
remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down–
put a smile on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around.

Life is a gift – Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, and Fulfill it.

Speaking of which, this story reminds me of this MV. Enjoy guys. Have a great day ahead.

Hello! How have you guys been? Hope you are all doing well! Sorry I havent been updating as often. Had a pretty hectic month. Last weekend was the shoot for two of my malay singles, Cinta Pada Mu and Cinta Tak Kesampaian. For those who havent heard of my malay songs, this is Cinta Pada Mu. :)

So the first day of shoot began on Saturday. First time working with Team Eva Luna. Great crew with high level of respect and humbleness. They are going through fasting and still managed to complete the shoot with professionalism. Thumbs up to Nazri and Joe!

Not forgetting my female lead Shikin for lending her talents to my MV too. Nice girl, and she is single, so guys, please you know my hint. Hahaha.

My best make up artist, Alex!

Enjoying the sun while shooting at ECP!

Start of Day 2 shoot.

Enjoying my fav gummy bears in between breaks. Hehe.

Taking a go at an artistic shot of the flyer during break time. Lol.

The both of them were trying to balance the bottle of hair spray on the top of their head. Funny moments like this between shoots really make everything so fun!

Final location for the shoot, Juup Nails.

Isnt it lovely? :)

Alex once again!

Finally after a long day, I get to pamper myself with the professional manicure services of Juup Nails!

Cant wait for the MV to be out! Hope you guys will really like it as the team spent alot of effort producing it.

Special thanks once again to:
