A Dog's Story

Had dinner with family today after a long day in school. We went to a Taiwan Japanese Restaurant at Robertson Quay. Not too bad, but WE still prefer Liu San Ge as it is much more delicious there. Haha.

After dinner we went nearby for dessert, Laurent Cafe & Chocolate Bar. They serve really nice chocolate desserts there.

I like their Warm Chocolate Cake. Prices are reasonable too.

Mouth Watering eh? :)

Anyway, Boss told me about this movie that he wanted to watch today. I want to watch it too! The movie title is "Hachikō: A Dog's Story", a true story based on a dog's loyalty to it's owner.

Extract from Wikipedia:

Picture of Hachikō

In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life Hachikō saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered a stroke at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting.

Hachikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he did not see his friend among the commuters at the station.

The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait.

This continued for 10 years, with Hachikō appearing only in the evening time, precisely when the train was due at the station.

Hachikō eventually passed away.

This movie is a remake of the 1987 movie: Hachikō Monogatari. I was 1 year old then, so I guess I didnt have the luck to catch it. Luckily they remade it. Haha. I'll go catch it when I have the time. You guys should too!!

Intriguing eh? :)

Boss told me that he read a similiar story in one book called "The Pet Hero", and it was like 15 years ago. I want to WATCH it!
黑夜 wrote something sad again. Share with you guys.

过去点滴像雕刻 深深的刻进心里
从陌生到相识 从相惜到最后的离别
毕竟我们过了界 不再是朋友更不是恋人
不问为什么 也没说再见
只知道我真的用了心 对你

We Are Happy

Head down to Signoria after school to look for them. Met new friends today. First was Betty, the make up artiste. She's from Taiwan and she's very humble and warm.

Of course, most of you will know who is this. Our dear Andrew from Youthbox. Haha.

Lastly, it's the two new members of RIG Performing Artistes, Kadon and YP. Welcome on board!

I actually had a very funny photo of me with a wig, but think dont post here better. Haha

After the shoot we headed to AMK for dinner/supper. Had a sumptuous and delicious meal.

Was sleeping yesterday and I woke up with more than 10 smses telling me a good news. They were all very excited to hear my new song 每分钟 air-played by Yes 933 fm. Too bad I missed it. But some of them actually recorded it down and sent it to me. Yippie.

Thank you to the DJs for promoting me. Thank you to all listeners who supported me. Thank you to all friends and supporters, especially Joseph Di and Serena, for helping me so much and giving me so much support. I love all of you!

I Will Work Harder

My father once told me:

In this world,

If you think you are rich, there is always someone richer.

If you think you are poor, there is always someone poorer.

If you think you are fat and ugly, there is always someone fatter and uglier.

If you think you are handsome and great, there is always someone more handsome and greater.

So no matter how hard you try, there's always someone out there to put you down. But take them as a form of encourgement and work harder, and these bad comments will work wonders.

In this world, you can never satisfy everyone or make everyone happy. Just do your best and things will work out fine. Especially in the entertainment industry, it is far more common than any other. We as artistes, can only take them in our stride and improve.

Whatever it is, dont fight back.

I once heard this saying:

"Arguing with a fool proves there are two." - Doris M. Smith

So, Joseph Di and everyone who support me, dont be too upset. I'm thankful and I appreciate everyone's effort.

I will work harder. (",)

Movie Review
Before the movie, I heard people telling me bad feedback about it. However, after the movie, I find their feedback a little unfounded. I actually liked the movie. Probably that's because I have a liking for vampires and supernatural stuffs deep down, but this movie made me stay awake throughout and I was eager to know what goes on further. Nice effects, not too overboard and certainly not too fake. I'm glad my first movie of 2010 turns out to be a nice movie that I enjoyed. I actually look forward to the second part. Haha.

On the side note, funny how people can perceive vampires as friendly creatures in one movie, and as nasty monsters in another. Yet, we are not bored by them at all. Haha.

Would you be a Vampire if given the chance?

So.... Guess who were the two surprises?
